Grads have the opportunity to participate in the following activities to raise grad dollars:

Below are listed the major fundraisers:

• Poinsettias - supplied by Olds College Greenhouse
  - sold for $14.00 each
  - one poinsettia sold equals $4 dollars credit
  - pick up at Olds College around December 12th 2007
• Wreaths - (fresh spruce) - supplied by Veronica Reist
  - sold for $26.00 each
  - one wreath sold equals $8 dollars credit
  - pick up date will be announced
• Swags – (fresh pine, locally made)
  - sold for $33.00 each
  - each swag sold will be between $4 & $8 dollars credit
  -pick up from the school November 28th and December 5th
• Grad Show - a talent and variety show
  - March 27th and 28th, 2008
  - entertainment provided by the grads
  - tickets will sell for $5.00, each ticket sold will equal $4 dollars credit
  
• Community Service Program - students are awarded “grad hours” for volunteer work  
  - each hour worked will be $4 dollars credit 
  - this project presents an excellent opportunity for students to gain exceptional volunteer experience which can be used to enhance a student’s resume, however, please understand the time commitment required
  - two opportunities are being coordinated: Olds Elementary School Reading Program or volunteering at the Olds Hospital
  - contact Mrs. Statchuk or Miss Vandervelden if interested in participating in any of these Community Service Programs

Students participating in fundraising activities or any community service programs will receive a credit to the grad’s account to offset the costs of grad, including the grad basic fee, grad show DVD or grad clothing.
